I’ve always loved creating animal portraits, not just for their beauty but for how deeply expressive they can be. I created this piece recently, and as a new mom (since September 2024), it resonates with me in a completely new way. When I look at it, I see more than just the beauty of giraffes. I see the tenderness, protection, and quiet devotion that define the bond between a mother and her baby. Not only do I love how this piece turned out visually, but it truly holds so much meaning to me. It’s a reflection of what I’m living and learning every day, and a reminder of how love connects us all, in every form.
