This drawing is of my childhood dog — a brindle mastiff who looks fierce in this pose, sitting up straight and staring upward like he’s on alert, but is honestly just a big teddy bear at heart. He’s one of the sweetest, most special dogs I’ve ever known. Even though he lives with my mom now, he still means so much to me, and creating this illustration was simply fun and meaningful — a chance to capture his personality and celebrate a dog I adore.
